1. Acceptance

By accessing or using GitArena ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GitArena is an interactive Git training platform that lets you practice Git commands inside a browser-based terminal. Challenges run against an in-memory Git engine — no installation required.

A free account grants access to 5 challenges per day. A one-time payment of $6 USD unlocks all challenges permanently, including any challenges added in future updates.

3. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for abusive, fraudulent, or illegal purposes.

4. Payments & Refunds

Full access is available for a one-time payment of $6 USD, processed securely through Stripe. All prices are shown in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.

Due to the digital and immediately accessible nature of the content, all sales are final and non-refundable once the purchase is completed and access is granted. If you experience a technical issue with payment, contact us

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • —Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce challenge content at scale.
  • —Share paid account credentials to circumvent the payment.
  • —Use automated tools to mass-solve challenges or manipulate leaderboard rankings.
  • —Upload or transmit any malicious code or content.

6. Intellectual Property

All challenge content, the Git engine, UI, and branding are owned by GitArena. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Service will be error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GitArena shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Mexico City, Mexico.
